Code of Practice for the Capture and Marketing of Feral Animals in Western Australia - Western Australia

Description

You may be required to comply with this code if you intend to capture, destroy or market feral animals. Feral animals are domesticated animals that have returned to a wild state. They do not include native animals, or introduced wild animals (with the exception of deer).

The aim of this code is to provide guidelines that will promote the welfare of

  • feral livestock animals captured for domestication
  • abattoir slaughter
  • destruction in control programs.
