Dangerous Goods Driver Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to drive a vehicle conveying dangerous goods in bulk, which normally refers to a receptacle with a capacity of more than 500 litres or kilograms. For example, driving a bulk tanker transporting fuel or Liquid Petroleum Gas.

You will not require this licence if you intend to transport goods in an intermediate bulk container (IBC) only and the total capacity of IBC's on your vehicle does not exceed 3000 litres, or if you intend to transport mineral ores on a mine site or all your dangerous goods are in packages. If you intend to transport explosives you will instead require an explosives driver licence.
