General Auctioneer's Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to act as a general auctioneer. Auctioneers are people who sell or offer for sale or resale properties or other items by way of auction. You can apply for this licence as an individual, firm or corporation. The classes of businesses that this licence allows you to deal in include:

  • land
  • motor vehicles
  • wool
  • livestock
  • second hand items
  • any other specified kind of commodity determined by the Agency.

If you intend to only deal in one class of business in a specific area in Western Australia, you can apply for a restricted auctioneer's licence instead of this licence.
