Aircraft Maintenance Authority - Australian Government


You may require an Aircraft Maintenance Authority if you are a licensed aircraft engineer. Maintenance Authorities allow you to carry out maintenance on a particular aircraft that is of a type that is not covered by your Aircraft Engineer Licence (AEL). You may be required to hold more than one maintenance authority, whilst you work towards improving the scope of your AEL.
