Description

You will require this declaration if you are the owner of one or more network units intending to nominate a licensed telecommunications carrier to supply carriage services over those units to the public, such as telephony or internet.

Network unit includes a length of telecommunications cable or a radiocommunications base station that meets certain legislative requirements.

Nomination occurs in circumstances where the owner of the network unit does not wish to hold a carrier licence and an exemption does not apply.
