Description

You will require this accreditation if you want to carry out auctioneering activities as an estate agent or a stock and station agent. Applications will only be considered if you hold the relevant qualification.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this accreditation, you must:

  • hold a Real Estate Agent's Licence and / or Stock and Station Agent's Licence
  • complete a 'Statement of Attainment' demonstrating that you have been assessed as competent by a qualified trainer working with a registered training organisation
  • demonstrate competency in the training qualification/s required for auctioneer accreditation.

If a licensee intends to conduct auctions under both a stock and station agent class (auctioning both stock and rural land) and a real estate agent class of licence, evidence of having completed all required competencies must be provided. Refer to the Property and Stock Agents (Qualifications) Order 2019 for more information.
