Pop-up Bar, Event and Promotion Licence - New South Wales

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a small-scale pop-up bar, event or promotion where alcohol will be sold. There are three types of licence:

  • Pop-up Bar Licence: enables you to sell liquor for consumption on your temporary pop-up premises.
  • Pop-up Event Licence: enables you to sell liquor for consumption on your temporary pop-up premises, in connection with an organised event. The sale of liquor must be ancillary to the purpose of the event.
  • Pop-up Promotion Licence: enables a current holder of a 'producer' or 'wholesaler' licence, who carries on the business of a producer of liquor, to sell or supply their liquor on a temporary pop-up premises.
