Registered Club Authorisations - New South Wales

Description

You will need this authorisation if you operate a registered club and intend to vary your standard conditions of operation. Available authorisations include the following:

  • Non-Restricted Area Authorisation: allows you to designate areas within your club as unrestricted, where individuals under the age of eighteen are permitted to enter.
  • Junior Members Authorisation: allows club members who are under the age of eighteen to access restricted areas of the club to take part in sporting activities or to attend prize-giving ceremonies related to those activities. 
  • Club Functions Authorisation: allows individuals who are either non-members of your club or under the age of eighteen to attend cultural, educational, religious, patriotic, professional, charitable, political, literary, sporting, athletic, industrial or community functions on your club premises.

To be eligible for an authorisation, you must:

  • operate a registered club and hold a club licence
  • give notice of your application to the local council and local police, and affix the same notice to your club premises
