Registration of a Precious Stones Claim - South Australia

Description

You will need to register a precious stones claim to prospect or mine an area for opal or other precious stones, and to recover and sell opal or other precious stones from that area. A precious stones claim may be up to 20,000 square metres in area.

Registration of your claim will provide you with an exclusive right to recover and sell opals and other precious stones from your claim area.
